PintSpy is a map of drink prices at pubs and bars. You can use the map without an account, and we only collect what we need to run the site.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you sign in to report prices. We use it to send your sign-in link and to link your reports to your account.
• Price reports you send: the venue, drink, price, time and any note you add. Approved prices are shown on the map without your name or email.
• Venue suggestions, and your email if you choose to give it so we can tell you when the venue is added.
• Venue enquiries from the Partner with us form: your name, role, email, phone and message.
• Settings saved on your device: your drink, city and 18+ answer, and your sign-in session. These stay in your browser and aren’t used for tracking.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your information. Your device’s location is only used inside your browser to move the map, and it isn’t sent to us.

Services we use

These services run parts of the site and handle data on our behalf. Some of them may store or process it outside Australia.

• Supabase: our database and sign-in.
• Netlify: hosts the website.
• MapTiler and OpenStreetMap: the street map. Your browser asks MapTiler for map images.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that forms are sent by people, not bots.
• Google Fonts: the site’s typefaces.

Like most websites, these services may see your IP address and browser details when your browser connects to them.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, including your account and reports, by emailing hello@pintspy.com.au. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
